8 Rivers and KC8 Capture Technologies enter into Sales Framework Agreement
8 Rivers has entered into a new strategic agreement with KC8 Capture Technologies for the engineering, project development, and licensing of its solvent technology for capturing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from heavy industry sources such as cement plants and power stations. Through this agreement, 8 Rivers will be KC8’s exclusive licensing partner for the North American power sector, and a strategic partner globally.
Bob Dudley Joins 8 Rivers Board
8 Rivers announced that Bob Dudley has joined the 8 Rivers Board. Bob Dudley held the position of CEO at BP from 2010 to 2020. Bob Dudley commented “Few companies in the world have a Net Zero solution set as affordable and as broadly useful as 8 Rivers. 8 Rivers has a fantastic team, and I am very pleased to be its newest member.”

The fossil fuel industry has long touted natural gas as a “bridge fuel”—abundant and reliable, cleaner than coal, and an essential stop-gap while the world transitions to renewable power.
